CHOCOLATE MERINGUE WITH CREAM
Serves: 4-6 / Preparation Time: 30 Minutes / Cooking Time: 25-30 Minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 3 eggs
- Cream of tartar
- Sugar
- Salt
- Unsweetened coco powder
- Heavy Whipping cream
- Bittersweet chocolate chips
- Honey
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 275°F
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
- Whip egg whites until medium peaks form
- Add salt and whip while adding the cream of tartar and then slowly add the sugar
- Continue whipping until egg white peaks are stiff and glossy
- Gently fold in cocoa powder and then spoon your meringue on to the baking sheets Make sure to place baking sheets in the center of the oven
- Bake for about 30 minutes and then turn the heat off, open the door slightly and allow to sit in the oven for 15-20 minutes
- Add a dollop of cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce 9. Best served immediately
